General notes
Banjo Band, Accrington. Johnny (John) Nolan 1889-1979 is centre front with arms folded. File wallet contains a photocopy of a Lancashire Evening Telegraph article "Looking Back" published 31/05/2007 which featured this photograph. A response to LET from Sandra Taylor of Blackburn suggested that the second musician from the left on the front row, may be her late uncle Harry Brunton, of Nuttall Street, Accrington. The name Jack Lomax, written on the card, is likely to refer to the donor of the photograph.
