View south westwards along Manchester Road towards St Mary's Church. On the left can be seen the Co-operative stores, on the corner of Rigby Street. Just beyond this is the Congregational Chapel, where the Lidl store and carpark can now be found. On the right, opposite Rigby St, was the Clayton Arms and nearer the camera, another Co-operative store on the corner of Albert Street.
