The church which was erected in 1901 stood on the corner of Brunswick Street and Chapel House Road and was knocked down c1980. Originally a Congregational church it became a United Reformed Church. When the chapel in the photograph was demolished it was replaced by a new church which continued in use up to 2015. The building is now used by the local Muslim community,
