Astley's Brewery on Sagar Street Nelson A new Nelson brewery was Erected in 1904 on this same site . This was then closed after being taken over by Massey's Burnley Brewery .It was later bought by Nelson corporation and demolished in stages , finally disappearing completley in1968. The Cenotaph and car park now stand on this site
