This second world war (1941) photograph was not taken locally, however Harry Rodwell Prince seen here sitting front row sixth from the left, lived and worked in Nelson for many years as a textile designer and salesman for Walter Pollard (1923) Ltd. Prior to the war he was employed for two or three years at a mill in Trawden. He was born on 8th October 1912 and died age 96. Copy supplied by Marylin Metcalfe.
