A view looking down Market Street towards the front of the Market Hall. The Market Hall was opened in 1890 with the tower and clock, (funded by H Tunstill JP), added later. It was destroyed by fire on 11th March 1932.
On the left of Market Street can be seen the Town Hall and on the right the Grand Theatre.
