General notes

A large group of men standing/sitting outside the inn with a large model comedy character. At the time of the photograph, Railway View Road extended from Waddington Road to Parson Lane. Later, part of this become Station Road. The Directories of 1900 list the inn as No 38 Parson Lane; the building still stands at the junction of Station Road and Parson Lane and is now named The Castle Inn.
