The River Hodder rises in the hills above Slaidburn and joins the River Ribble at Hacking Ferry.

Built in 1770 and grade 2 listed, Doeford bridge spans the river Hodder via two arches. It is situated in the Bowland Forest on the lower of the two roads between Bashall Eaves and Dunsop Bridge. Please see also the next slide. (ECL20140107023)
