Hodder Valley: Dalehead: Grange Hall Bridge
General notes
It is not currently possible to define the precise location of this image. Dalehead was flooded to create Stocks Reservoir in 1931 when the Hodder was dammed above Slaidburn. Several buildings disappeared, perhaps Grange Hall among them. It is possible that the bridge in this photograph was close to Grange Hall and was covered as the waters rose. Roads that maps suggest once led into Dalehead now end quite abruptly close to the water's edge.
