General notes
The hamlet of Dalehead and several surrounding buildings were "drowned" by the creation of Stocks Reservoir by damming the River Hodder above Slaidburn. The image clearly shows the river on its (generally) southerly route at Dalehead from a location no longer discernible on OS maps. Presumably "Grange Hall" disappeared with other local buildings.
