General notes

Of particular interest inside the church is the furniture.

The photograph shows only one pew, however Jenkins in his "England's Best Churches" suggests that "The church should qualify as a museum of ecclesiastical seating."

On the North isle is a Churchwardens' pew dating from1690 which seats eight, then a Constable's pew.

There are also benches dated 1638, a rectory pew of 1702 and most spectacular of all - St Anton's Cage.
