This is a view looking down through the arched entrance of the Temple. The Temple was built as a summerhouse. It is a grade 2 listed building first registered in 2011. Thomas Lister 1st Baron Ribblesdale, during the course of the 1750s, constructed a number of buildings on the estate including this Temple.
