Dr A Musson was the eldest son of Dr W Musson and took over from his father as a Clitheroe G.P. He was also a member of the Town Council and was a fierce campaigner for his causes. He was the proud owner of the first motor car in Clitheroe and was also passionately interested in music. One of the subjects he was most interested in was the health and welfare of the young people of Clitheroe and he was Chairman of the Education Committee. He was appointed to the staff of the Queen Mary's Military Hospital only a few months before he died at the age of 53 in 1918.
