Description
The Peter Horsley collection consists of 3,600 trawler images in negative format and they have all been digitised here for people to view easily. The collection dates from the early 1950's and includes trawler images from Fleetwood, the UK and abroad and contains both colour and black and white photographs.
Peter Horsley was born and educated in Fleetwood. After five years on the staff of the ICI General Chemicals Division in Fleetwood, he became a professional photographer and in 1958 established his own photographic business in the town. Peter has also had a life-long interest in ships.
