Photograph shows Pitt Street in the Fold in Rawtenstall. Part of the building seen above the wall on the left is hol and Bury's Print Works, Ormerod Street. The hish gable end is part of the houses in Ormerod Street. the small cart bears the name "W. Peters, Confetioner". This suggests that a bake-house may have existed in one of the buildings. Mr Peters had a grocers and confectioners shop in Queen Square, later occupied by J. Bullcock, Plumber. After demolition the site was occupied by the Fold Garage and Enquiry Office.
