General notes

Photograph shows the houses in Back Lane in the Fold, Rawtenstall, in 1900. This section was between the Co-op Hall and Tattersall's Cake Shop. Back Lane continued from the other side of the road, which led into The Fold. The buildings have all been demolished and the land used as a car park. The wall on the left surrounds the land on which the Spiritual Church was built. Pictures were taken as part of Photographic Survey Record of Rawtenstall no. 447.
