General notes
Various members of the Harrison family ran this china and earthenware stall in Burnley market hall from the 1870's until the 1960's.
This photograph was probably taken in the 1880's and shows the first member of the family to run the stall, William Harrison, with his young son Benjamin, who helped him out. The lady to the left is most probably William's wife, Nancy. By 1900, the stall was being run by another of William's sons, John.
