Information relating to 'Cheap John's Bazaar' remains elusive. Up until the 1923 Barrett's directory, this small plot of land (believed to be on Hammerton Street, with Paradise Street on the right) was home to a billiard saloon. By 1927, there was nothing listed on the same piece of land. Therefore, one must assume that this bazaar was open for the short period between these two editions.
