General notes

At the top of the picture is the church organ in the old Wesley Chapel. The previous organ was destroyed by fire in 1928 and this larger organ was installed to replace it. At the bottom of the picture is the mahogany pulpit, which was constructed in 1877 and was said to be one of the finest in the country. The pulpit managed to escape the fire unscathed. Unfortunately both were lost when the chapel was demolished in 1965.
