396 & 398 Cog Lane, Burnley. Taken on September 15th 1936. Former residents of these houses would have worked in the local mills.

The houses were part of the Wood Top Clearance Area, and were demolished in 1939 because they were considered, under the 1936 Housing Act, to be part of a slum. They were due to be replaced with new houses, but this had to be postponed because of the outbreak of war.
