General notes

Built in 1904 on Netherwood Road, this was the first mill in England to run on electricity. The mill that it replaced was closer to Eastern Avenue and operated between c1820 and c1870. The area in the foreground was later converted into allotments. To the right, behind the railings, one can see the river Brun.
