This photograph of the Tim Bobbin Inn on Padiham Road was probably taken around the time of Queen Victoria's Jubilee. The landlord at the time was a Mr. Kenyon.

The inn was previously a farm house belonging to the Shuttleworth family. It was rebuilt in 1701 and again around 1900, when bay windows were added.
