View looking South from Morecambe Bay of Fleetwood and River Wyre Estuary.
On the North Coast is the Pier (destroyed: 9/09/2008), the Bowling Greens, Open Air Swimming Pool, The Marine Hall, The Mount & Mount Pavillion.
At the Eastern end is the Railway Station (demolished: C1971) and Quayside.
On the South of the town (photo Middle), are the Docks. The River then passes Fleetwood Power Station (demolished: 1984) & the ICI.
The GIS Reference point is The Upper (Pharos) Lighthouse.
