This image shows the club just prior to its demolition in the Summer of 2012 - an Aldi supermarket is being built on the site. The club was one of the distinctive St Annes "Porritt" buildings built by William J Porritt in the late 19th Century. Porritt was a significant figure in the development of St Annes on Sea and was a director of the St Annes on the Sea Land and Building Company which was established in 1874.
