The building of St.Annes Parish Church was commissioned by Lady Clifton in the early 1870's. The church was consecrated in 1873. The North Aisle, Lady Chapel and Tower were added in 1900.

The photograph used was a copy taken from the collection of glass negatives in St Annes Library.
