General notes
User Comments: 'The former Boys' Technical School is now used as Pupil Referral Unit and is known as The Oswaldtwistle School. It was originally built on the site of the old Treacle Row.

The shops across the road - 1 to 21 Union Road - are long since demolished and the area grassed over.

The boundary between the former Urban Districts of Church and Oswaldtwistle is just past the School, near the junction with Foxhill Bank Brow. The name Union Road (Oswaldtwistle) changes to Market Street (Church), where the Church & Oswaldtwistle Railway Station is still to be found (a stop on the local Colne to Preston line).
