Taken from Leeds Road. The junction of Scotland New Road, and Holme Street.
The Palace Theatre and Picture house was built in 1905.
In 1977 the stone frontage was demolished to widen Leeds Road The remaining buildings were already converted into a bingo hall by this time.
Pendle Pottery had a shop in the large arch on Holme Street.
