General notes

The Trustees Saving Bank was on the far side of the road. It was demolished to widen the road and build new Marsden Resource Centre. The land in the foreground would house the new Post Office, until it was moved in late 1990s to the Trafalgar Mall off New Scotland Road.
The Manchester Road Congregational Chapel can also been seen behind Rigby Street.
In the far distance St Mary's Spire is also visible.
