Mayor's Baby Day, 24th July 1924. Mayor and Mayoress Watson held garden party in Oak Hill Park for mothers and babies, first since 1917. Over 700 mothers and babies attended. All babies received medal on blue ribbon to commemorate day.
Some 360 prams were parked in front of the museum and down pathways. Mayor seated centre in background.
