Born 1818. Studied at St Bartholomew's Hospital and practised at Lancaster, where he was Surgeon to the Dispensary, which later became the Infirmary. He was also President of the Lancashire and Cheshire Branch of the British Medical Association. William Hall was Mayor of Lancaster 1878-79. He died at Thornbreaks, Lancaster, on July 8th, 1891.
