Photograph of a painting by Edwin Beattie. The White Bull was used as an hospital by the Pretender's troops in the Jacobite Rebellion of 1715. The First Catholic Charitable Society met there on 3rd May 1742. Prince Charles assembled his Scottish chiefs there on 29th November 1745 during the second Jacobite Rebellion. Demolished November 1893.
