Bare Lane looking Seaward past the original Bare Club. The post on the left is a "Gas Plug" according to the 1891 25 inch map but is actually a hydrant for filling the carts used to damp down the roads in dry weather

Mr Eastwood had a Chemist shop in Lancaster, and took a selection of images around Morecambe on glass plates around the turn of the 20th century.
