Leonard 'Len' Martindale was a Bolton born football player who turned out for both Burnley and Accrington Stanley. Len played for Burnley between 1937 and 1951, although this spell was heavily interrupted by the war. In 1951 he played a solitary season for Accrington Stanley before retiring.
