Residence of Nicholas Grimshaw, 4 Winckley Square, on the corner of Winckley Street. He lived here from 1807 and died here in 1838. One of the first four houses built in the Square. Nicholas Grimshaw was seven times mayor of Preston and twice Guild Mayor of Preston in 1802 and 1822.
