Some of the images are from areas away from Silverdale and the surrounding area. It may be that Bird was on holiday locally, and had a few day trips out. This is St Anne's Church in Singleton, just outside Poulton-le-Fylde, an 1860 job by Paley. It was paid for by the owner of the Singleton Park Estate, Thomas Miller, who was a mill owner from Preston.
