General notes

A mission church in Heysham, dedicated to St Patrick, was replaced in 1924 by this building, which in turn was replaced my a much larger building in 1962. This, in turn was replaced in 2003 due to rising costs, and this church, which had been used as the parish hall, became the church once more, an altar from the closed church of St Augustine's, Preston being installed.
