Built for the Kingston Steam Fishing Co Ltd, Hull and launched on 30/06/1934 as ACHROITE (H81). 31/08/1939 Requisitioned by the Royal Navy as a mine-sweeper (no FY914). 28/08/1945 Returned to fishing. 11/08/1949 Sold to J Marr & Son Ltd, Hull. 29/01/1952 Transferred to J Marr & Son Ltd, Fleetwood. 14/05/1960 Transferred to Cevic Steam Fishing Co Ltd, Fleetwood. She is thought to be last coal fired steam trawler to land fish at Fleetwood. 1963 Vessel sold for scrap to Haulbowline Industries Ltd. 04/02/1963 On delivery to Passage West she developed engine trouble off the Coningbeg light-vessel and was escorted into Rosslare. She broke adrift and ran ashore on Rosslare Strand approx 5 miles north-west of Rosslare Lighthouse. On 11/02/1963 in a full storm she was driven further ashore. The wreck was sold to P. Roche Killinich who broke her up in situ.
